This stage focuses on the following five main areas of corporate finance practice.
- professional foundations of corporate finance
- financial statement analysis
- changes in control
- valuation
- raising debt and equity
Experience level
- typically, one to three years' experience. Managers and those with management potential. UK candidates must have completed the Certificate or be exempt (see exempt categories).
Assessment
- one examination, based around a case study that will encompass all five key competency areas listed above
Study commitment
- up to 200 hours, equally divided between intensive classroom tuition and self study.
