You can study for the Corporate Finance qualification (CFq) in different countries across the world. It is currently offered in Europe, North America and the Middle East. New partnerships in different countries are being developed each year.
How is the qualification structured?
Some countries may require you to meet a specific entry requirement prior to commencing the course. Please refer to your regional pages for more details.
The qualification itself comprises two core stages and work experience:
Diploma/Intermediate Stage
The Diploma/Intermediate Stage delivers technical skills, knowledge and best practice techniques.
Advanced Diploma/Stage
The Advanced Diploma/Stage focuses on real-life corporate finance experience and deal management.
Work experience
Relevant work experience is necessary to gain the CF qualification. This must consist of three years' work experience and involvement in three corporate finance transactions which are signed off by your manager.
Applying for the CF qualification
Completion of each stage of the qualification is a pre-requisite for entering the next. Once you have successfully completed the stages and gained the required amount of work experience, you must download and complete the relevant CF qualification application form for your region to be awarded the corporate finance qualification and the right to use the letters CF after your name.
