Special considerations

Students who feel that their performance in the examination has been adversely affected by illness or other special circumstances may have these factors taken into account during the results determination process.

Any applications for special considerations should be submitted in writing to the assessment manager at the ICAEW, or the CF Registrar at the CICA as soon as possible after the examination, for receipt two weeks before the results despatch date at the latest.

Marks review and feedback

If you fail an exam paper and believe that the results are not correct and you would like more information, you can request a performance analysis review.

This is not a re-mark of your paper but a full check that all procedures and marks scheme have been followed. You will also be provided with individual feedback from the examiner/marker on your individual performance in each competency area.

The fee for this service is £175 (ICAEW students) or CAD $350 plus appropriate taxes (CICA students).
