About the CF qualification

There are two routes to achieving the Corporate Finance qualification: the experience route and the study route.

Experience route

The experience route enables senior corporate financiers to gain the Corporate Finance qualification through an examination of experience. Find out if you are eligible to apply for the experience route. Forms to apply for the experience route can also be downloaded from the CFq resources section.

Study route

The study route is a two-part programme – the Diploma and Advanced Diploma… (or the Intermediate Stage or the Advanced Stage in some countries). It was designed by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) and the ICAEW. It gives corporate finance professionals the technical knowledge and practical skills they need to perform at the highest level.
